Our Team Captain's story:

My reason for participating and raising money for this cause is my dad, Dale Dawson. He was diagnosed in 2006, at the age of 62, with Frontotemporal Dementia, though we suspected he had it prior to then. He fought a long fight for 15 years and on January 9th, 2022, the long goodbye ended for him with myself and my mother by his side. He was my hero. I will never stop doing what I can to help find a cure for this horrible disease that affects too many loved ones.
