Welcome to team Moore page! My family and I, along with our friends are joining in the fight against Alzheimer’s to find a cure. We walk in honor of my mother, Barbara, who fought this terrible disease until the Lord called her home November 2020. Barbara was a very strong, self-willed, active woman in her community and church. She had a mission minded heart and was always doing for others, selflessly and without thought. She, along with our father,  reared my two brothers and myself while she worked outside the home. After a few events outside of just normal forgetfulness, like forgetting her way home and not remembering where she stayed the night before, our mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2014. As the years went by she slowly progressed and faded to nothing more than sitting in her rocking chair starring blankly out of the window. She lost her fight against Alzheimer's in 2020. 

Alzheimer’s truly is the longest goodbye. It is so heartbreaking to watch someone you love just wither away one memory at a time. So please join with me and help find a cure!
