University of Alabama, Sigma Kappa, has a philanthropy that is near and dear to my heart, The Walk to End Alzheimer's. Our philanthropy is dedicated to finding a cure to Alzheimer's. Dementia is personal to me. Alzheimer's is a horrible disease with unfortunately no cure. It destroys families. WE NEED A CURE. I hope you'll consider making a donation, as Alzheimer's affects more than 6 million Americans and 2/3 of these individuals are female. At the walk, we show support at by carrying different color flowers to represent our support of the disease. Our biggest goal is to have the first white flower, which represents our first survivor.
