I'm leading the way to to find Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's(R).

My dear husband..the girls Dad..left us this season due to Alzheimer's. We are grateful for wonderful care and the friends who continue to stand by us..navigating our way now is a new challenge. This will be my last walk for Larry and his girls...you have all been so generous over the years. I'm weary and planning my next chapter now that he is at peace, for which I am grateful.

There is much hope and new innovations in the field of Alzheimer's and associated dementia.

Please help if you can.

The future holds promise research has brought the first treatment to forestall the progress of Alzheimer's and related dementia, testing for genetic trends are not far off. Advocacy and research are paramount to moving forward.

In person event is September 21st at the Alaska Zoo or September 7th in Soldotna or walk near home everyone is welcome.

Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
