My last (actual walking) Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's was in 2021 with my adult children and several grandkids. It was another meaningful memory for us - to be together and honor a husband, father, and grandfather who was so loved and respected, as well as to support those who have suffered from the impacts of Alzheimer's. While the "Johnson Clan" misses the "physical" walk, we are still just as strongly committed to helping to find a cure.
This terrible disease impacts millions - those who directly suffer from the disease, as well as family members and more. The number of those impacted by Alzheimer's continues to grow and is expected to be as high as 14 million by 2060! I am committed to doing my small part to fight this disease and hope you will join me in this important effort. All donations will help advance the care, support, and research efforts.
I walk to honor my beloved, unforgettable husband, but we all know someone afflicted - either with the disease or caring for someone battling this illness. Help to be a part of the solution in finding a cure. We can't give up - there is too much at stake for those we love! Together, we can help make a positive difference!
