I had the honor of assisting in the care of my in laws. Caring for someone with Alzheimer's is a real struggle, it is mentally and physically tough on the individual and the care giver. It is hard to understand until you are faced with those challenges.
In 2020 39,000 West Virginias were living with Alzheimer's. In 2021 72,000 family caregivers provided 135 million hours of unpaid care. Valued at $1.8 billion dollars.
Alzheimer's isn't stopping and neither are we! Join us in the fight to END ALZ.
