Welcome to Team Blondie! Our Team name is in honor of our beautiful and strong Mom, Lorraine, who we lost in 2020 to dementia. She married her high school sweetheart, Bill, and together they raised thirteen children. They were married for over 65-years by the time Dad passed in 2012. They had a wonderful life together, and continue to influence the world with their ever-growing family.

We come together as "Team Blondie" in search of a cure for Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia - a condition that took hold of Mom for the last fifteen years of her life. Despite that, Mom's life legacy will always be the carrying, birthing, raising, and nurturing the thirteen of us into this world, and the loving example she showed Dad and us every day of her life. We will carry her legacy with us wherever we Walk.

In honor of all Moms and all those afflicted with this disease, please join Team Blondie to Walk with us on Saturday, October 7th in Fond du Lac. You can (also) join the Team to become a fundraiser for us by using a business you own, special talent, idea, or community connection you may have. And, you can always donate (above) to help End Alzheimer's without needing to join our Team. We’re looking forward to Walking together this year (once again) to help raise awareness and boost the resources needed to End Alzheimer’s and all forms of dementia.
