Every 67 seconds someone in the United States develops Alzheimer's disease (www.alz.org). Alzheimer's is a disease that effects millions of people diagnosed along with their loved ones and family members. Alzheimer's has made a huge impact on our family, as our mother/grandmother was diagnosed and passed several years ago. The last 9 years our family has committed to raising money to end this horrific disease. Again this year, we are participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's® to raise awareness and funds to advance the fight against Alzheimer's disease. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we change the course of this devastating disease. And there's something you can do about it -- walk with me.
Please join us for this amazing day as we work together to end Alzheimer's. All proceeds to benefit the Alzheimer's Association of Southeastern Wisconsin. Thank you for your time and support. We look forward to seeing you there!
