18 YEARS OF WALKING!
I have been a part of "Team Petroski" since 2005 through the Walk to End Alzheimer's to help raise money for people with Alzheimer's disease. Proceeds from the walk go directly to improve the lives of those affected by Alzheimer's, to promote awareness, research and effective treatments.
My Grampa (Eddie Petroski) passed away fifteen years ago with Alzheimer's. I started Team Petroski to honor him and raise awareness. It's sad to say we now have more family members that have passed with Alzheimer's or other Dementia's. A greater reason to raise money for this important cause.
With our family so deeply affected by this disease, please join Team Petroski! I hope that you and your family will be able to walk September 9th. If you are from out of town please check the ALZ website for a walk in your area, or you can make a donation to Team Petroski- all support is greatly appreciated.
