This is our Mom, Lorraine. She's the strongest person we know. We lost her to Dementia in 2020.

She was born and raised by Joe and Anna, along with her sisters Rita and Dolores, in Elmhurst, Illinois. She married her high school sweetheart, Bill, and together they raised thirteen children in Burlington, Wisconsin. Mom and Dad were married for over 65-years by the time Dad passed in 2012. They had a wonderful life together, and continue to enrich the world with their ever-growing family.

Although, Mom's mind and body gave-way to this disease, we can still remember the spirit we saw within her whenever we visited her these past years. We marvel at all she did as our Mom throughout her 95-years... carrying, birthing, raising, and nurturing the thirteen of us into this world. Although she has left us, her spirit never will, and she will always be the strongest person we know! So, we Walk To End Alzheimer's to honor her life and the lives of all who are affected by it, and to one day (soon) find the path to a cure.

We will always love her!
