Thank you for visiting my page! I'm walking for two important reasons. First, my late grandfather Dennis Laudon, who was often described as the consummate gentleman. He lived a long, happy life, but the last several years provided challenges due to his fight with dementia. Second, as a Financial Advisor I see the impact this disease has on our clients, either dealing with it themselves or acting as a caregiver for a loved one. For those reasons I'm walking to raise awareness, support, and research for everyone currently fighting the disease in hopes we will find a cure.
Currently, more than 6 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 14 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
