As most of you know my Mom has been battling this terrible disease for the last 5 years. What you might not know is her older brother, my Uncle Rob, lost his battle with Alzheimer's  in the fall of 2022.  Our family has suffered greatly from this disease as I have lost my Gramma and now 2 of my uncles after their courageous fight!  Even though this disease is slowly taking away our loved ones, it has brought a new family into our lives and those are the "Angel Army" as my Dad likes to call them at Friendly Village Nursing Home! They have been a blessing for my Mom and to our whole family as they are some of the most caring, loving and selfless people I have ever met.
