Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. In the past few years, my grandma was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. She was such a strong, beautiful woman who survived a terminal cancer diagnosis and lived 23 more years instead of the 5 years they thought she had left. She raised 4 wonderful children and was always there for her 8 grandchildren. My grandpa kept her at home as long as possible with the help of the Alzheimer's Association and the resources they have available, from Support Groups to Educational Classes. My grandma ended her fight with Alzheimer’s on November 5th, 2020. Alzheimer's is a terrible disease for not only the person with the disease but also their families.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's!
