Hello,

Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.  I watched my grandfather's battle as a child, my mother's battle as an adult (and as a mother), and now my mother-in-law is currently battling this awful disease.  I walk to honor those in my family and all who are affected.  I walk to raise funds for research and to advocate for services and research funding from the federal/state government.  This will help those who are affected, the many who will be affected, and everyone because this is an expensive disease that takes a tremendous toll on families and everyone as our health system is burdened.
