Alzheimers and dementia run in my family. I lost my grandma when I was young to Alzheimers. Then 2 uncles to dementia and then an aunt to Alzheimers. It has not been easy on my family and I know that the probability of others in my family getting Alzheimers or dementia in my family is high. This is why I am walking in Tacoma to help garner support for the cause.
