My journey with Alzheimer's Disease began when my mom was diagnosed in the early 2000's, and it was so painful to watch her slip away from us and then finally succumb to a disease that takes away so much, not only from the person who has the disease, but from those that care for that person. Since my mom passed away, I have lost a school mate, and now I have several friends diagnosed with this disease. So the number that I walk for has grown, but I will never give up hope of finding a cure for Alzheimer's Disease in my lifetime. Please come and walk along with me or help by contributing to my cause.
