Our family walks for all the family members we have lost to Alzheimer's, most of all my mom, Jacq. This woman is greatly missed by all of us. An amazing woman with many talents, she never ceased to amaze any of us with her talents sewing, crafting, cooking and baking.
We have also lost our maternal grandfather Harold Sr., and uncle Harold Jr. Hal and Linda Peplow, Jacq’s brother and sister. We will continue to walk until there is a cure, if not in our lifetime then in our children's and grand children’s.
Our family will be walking in the Roanoke walk again this year and for years to come until a cure is found.
