On September 30, 2023, I will be participating in the Greater Augusta Walk to End Alzheimer's in Fishersville, Virginia, in memory of my husband who suffered from Frontotemporal Degeneration, a type of dementia and in memory of my Dad who suffered from Alzheimer's. This will be my 11th year participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. My goal again this year is $1,000. I am so thankful and appreciative of those who donated last year and I ask for your support again this year as I celebrate 11 years of walking for this important cause. I am helping to lead the way to find a cure for this horrible disease and other types of dementia.
