When I arrived in 2014, I was inspired by a former resident Sally Paschal that was our team leader for many years. I walked many times with her before she passed away. I'm committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s research, care and support. I can see the devastating effect of this dreadful disease every day, around me here at Westminster Canterbury of the Blue Ridge (WCBR). Covid-19 has been very hard on our ALZ friends. For months they were in lock down, isolated from friends and family. Even today, visits are limited. For many the disease has progressed faster than anticipated due to their isolation. Please support my walk either in person or through your donation.
