The Marshall family has been affected by Alzheimer's for generations. It has taken the lives of too many of our relatives. My guess is that it has also affected your family or someone you love because Alzheimer's is the third leading cause of death in Utah. Our team is named "Unbeatable" after one of my Grandpa Monte Marshall's most successful racehorses. He lived with Alzheimer's for many years as my grandma took care of him, but it ultimately took his life, as there is no cure. His sisters Evalyn and Mildred and brother Joe also died from Alzheimer's, and his youngest brother Don, who is 88, is now in a care center because of the disease.  Now a new generation of our family has also been affected as my dad is living with the disease, and my mom is caring for him.
