My dad is 78 years old and is in mid-stage Alzheimer's disease. He has always been an intelligent person who loves adventure and learning. In the past few years, his condition has significantly worsened. He needs care 24 hours a day. He's not an easy patient because he has retained all the intensity of his better days! My mom takes good care of him and the seven of us children pitch in. We know we are not the only family in this situation. We know our chances of getting Alzheimer's are increased because of our genetics. We want to be part of the answer and help raise money for this devastating, incurable disease! We want to see progress in the research, and this requires funding. Please help us in our quest. The Walk to End Alzheimer's is a reputable organization that raises money for education and research.
