I want to raise awareness for this devastating disease that affects so many middle aged and older adults. I want to be an advocate for those who are suffering from Alzheimer's and Dementia. More than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's.
My hope is that I will be a witness to the day we are able tohold up the white flower and announce "We have a SURVIVOR!!"
I walk to honor all those who have lost their battle with Alzheimer's and for those whom are living with it today, especially my residents at The Springs Memory Care.
