Lost my Aunt Dorothy to Alzheimer's (back, 3rd from left)
I lost my Aunt Dorothy Bonar to Alzheimer's Disease. She was my namesake and godmother. She was the youngest of ten children, and the was almost like a sister to me rather than my mother's sister. We also lost my Uncle Frank Masters to the disease. The pain of Alzheimer's is that you lose the person you knew long before they pass away.
