I lost my precious Grandmother to this disease 2 years ago. You never realize the impact someone has on your life until they are gone. It is so hard watching someone you love so much fade away and lose their memory. The decline with this disease is very tough to endure and watch. She was such a special person and so near and dear to me growing up. Grandparents sure are special people! Losing someone so close really changes your perspective on how short life is.
