Hi Friends and Family!

  I walk in Loving Memory of my step-father "Papa Jim" Giese whom we lost to this disease in 2019.  His death came just four years after we lost my "Granny", Virginia Johnson to this disease in 2015.  All three of her siblings: Eldon, Annabel & Margie also died due to the effects of Alzheimer's.  Obviously, this disease runs in our family, and I personally want a CURE!  

I walk & raise funds with a purpose!

Won't you join me in raising funds to lead the way to Alzheimer's first Survivor?  You can join by walking in or donating to (or both) the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®.   The walk will be held on Saturday, October 22nd at 8am on the Dance Slab in Landa Park, New Braunfels, Texas.  Even if you can't walk, you can still give and/or fundraise along side me!

  Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
