I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®
I have participated in this walk for many years, this is my fourth year to walk In Memory of my dad instead of In Honor of him. Sadly, in 2019 he passed away after a 13 year battle with Alzheimer's.
As a result of the research for treatments and medication, we were able to enjoy my dad for many years after his diagnosis. Even up to 8 years after being diagnosed, friends who met my dad were surprised that he had Alzheimer's. These important advances significantly slowed the progression and helped him remain lucid for years.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
