Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s®, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association® to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.

Our family has heard the words that no one ever wants to hear ... "you have Alzheimer's." My mom is my best friend and my inspiration to this long journey that we are all in together. It has been very emotional to say the least, but we are very hopeful and know that as a team we will be there to support each other on hard days. As it says in Psalm 91 "I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation." I know my mom is a fighter and I will be by her side every step of the way. She will not be alone in this fight. Help me and my family show her that she has a team behind her in this fight against Alzheimer's.
