Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.

As most of you know, my papaw and my granny died with Alzheimer's disease. And my mom and our family are now battling her diagnosis with the disease. Every 60 seconds someone over the age of 60 in the United States will be diagnosed with Alzheimer's. We need to find a cure or at the least, some way to slow down the progression of the disease.
