I am raising funds in memory of my sweet, sweet momma, Brenda McMakin. As you may know, we lost her last September to the ravaging effects of Alzheimer's that took away her beautiful mind. I am working hard to raise money for research that will eradicate this disease within the lifetime of your children and our precious Caramia. My mother adored children and loved being an elementary school teacher for over 50 years. She would absolutely support this research.

Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.

Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
