Every year my Mom would get so excited when Walk season was to begin! She said the cause moved her because it was her favorite color, purple. As the years went by, I realized that her favorite event became a closer connection that just her color. The last year, my Mom's short term memory really begin to take a toll. Knowing that she was suffering from COPD, did not make this any easier. In April of this year, my Mom has been gone for ten years at the age of 62. So many memories with my Mom has been lost, but one thing that we never fade is her love for our family and the color purple. Please help me with cause so dear to my heart and in memory of my true hero, my Mom, Paula.
