Alzheimer's and Dementia are aggressive and heartbreaking diseases that I sadly have personal experience with. In September of 2021, I lost my Grandmother to Dementia. My experience caring for my Grandmother throughout the different stages of this disease showed me just how detrimental it is. My Grandmother was one of the most patient and kind people I have ever known and if I could grow up to be half the woman that She was I would feel more than accomplished. I love you, Grandma :)
