In 2018, I lost my Pop to Alzheimer's. He began his battle at age 77, passing 2 months before his 81st birthday. I walk with my sisters of Sigma Kappa for my Pop and all families who face the struggle of Alzheimer’s disease. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s®, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association® to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
