I sincerely appreciate all of your support of past Azheimer's walks and the donations that I have received so far. As most of you know, I lost my sweet Dad in February 2018 after being diagnosed for 16 years, and I miss him so much. You see, it doesn't matter how old someone is or how long they have fought this fight, their life has purpose and teaches us so much about love, about patience, and about the value of a person. Again this year, I am walking memory of all that he was and I am once again committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s research, care and support. As long there is breath in my body I will work to find a cure for this disease so that no other family has to walk the walk that we did.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
I need your support to do my part! Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide.
Thank you for joining the movement! The end of Alzheimer's disease starts with you.
