My mom, Norma, was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's Disease at just 53 years old. She passed away in 2016 and I miss her every day. She was my favorite person in the entire world.
Alzheimer's is a terminal disease that causes progressive irreversible damage to the brain, affecting memory and all of the body's most basic functions. It is the 7th leading cause of death in the US.
People with Alzheimer's live an average of 8 years after their symptoms become noticeable to others. There is no cure.
Please donate to support programs that help those with Alzheimer's Disease and to fund research in search of a cure.
