After a difficult visit with my dad in 2012, I started Team Hope and have since participated in the Lycoming County's Walk to End Alzheimers. I wanted to do something that was positive.
My dad died on April 3, 2017, and my husband's mother, uncle, aunt and other loved ones, and friends' parents, suffered from this disease. It's debilitating for our loved ones, and for us to have to watch.
