Dear Friends,
It is that time of year again when I reach out to my friends to help secure a cure to Alzheimer's.
The cure wasn't there for many of loved ones I have lost to this terrible disease. Lois, Joe, Alma, Charlotte, Leah...and my dear Mom-in-law Barbara. The cure may not be there for me. Hopefully in my daughter's time?
Our world is still adjusting to a life changing event that none of us had any control over. The COVID-19 pandemic, and the rippling effects that continue to impact our every decision is not unlike Alzheimer's disease. Our loved ones, or even ourselves, do not choose to have dementia or Alzheimer's. But it still happens. Let's work towards a cure.
