As many of my friends and family know my amazing mother is suffering with Alzheimer's and seeing the progression of this disease and watching it take away who my mother is, has brought me to the point of wanting to save myself, my family, and others from this horrible affliction.  Alzheimer's does not just attack those diagnosed with this disease, it destroys the person and leaves those around them hurt and suffering, missing what is lost and devastated by the emptiness where memories used to be.  No one should ever have to go through this disease or have to watch a loved one go through this disease.  My family and I will be participating in the Walk To End Alzheimer's in Altoona.  Please Join our team and help us support Mimi, those who are caregivers, and the more than 5 million Americans and their families who are fighting each day with this horrible disease.  If you would like to join our team and walk with us please register.  Thank you in advance for your support!

I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®.
