I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
My dad was diagnosed in March 2018 after my mom and I returned from a trip visiting her brother back in 2017. He was confused, inquisitive and didn't know we were away. That's when we knew something was wrong. After months of doctor appointments to rule out another brain tumor, we were hit with this awful disease. My dad passed away July 1, 2021. Even though he had Alzheimer’s, he still knew who we were.
It has become my mission to help find a cure for this dreaded disease. The struggle is REAL. The heartache and pain of watching your loved one slowly slip away is agonizing. I will continue to fight for my dad and others who can’t fight for themselves.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
Thank you for your support!!
