My Mom, Nancy Vodvarka Young, was diagnosed with Alzheimer's at the age of 67 and completed her life at the age of 69. This diagnosis came at a young age but is not considered early onset in Alzheimer's world. The disease moved so rapidly that no interventions slowed the progression. There was absolutely nothing we could do.
I walk for my Mom and for every family that has a loved one fighting Alzheimer's. I want to raise money to beat Alzheimer's disease into submission and support families who are currently in the battle. I want patients and families to have a hope and dignity
