WHY I'M WALKING
In memory my wife, Barb, the mother of 7, grandmother of 18, great grandmother of 11, and to raise money for the research of Alzheimer’s disease, in hopes of a cure.
For 80 plus years Barb was on top of her game. Always in charge of elaborate dinners for our large family at Christmas and Easter and all the other holidays. The house always decorated according to the season. Two time neighborhood best Christmas decorated house. She was tireless in planning and preparation of all these activities, and then slowly, it seems, the fire went out, and the ability to manage the task has faded. It's heartbreaking to watch this disease take away a loved ones abilities.
If you can, please join our team, "BARB'S BOOSTERS", and help us find a cure and end Alzheimer’s.
I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. If you can, please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's!
