Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s®, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association® to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.

Having grown up with my with my great grandparents and grandparents living with us during their senior years, I came face to face with Alzheimer's at an early age. I learned to never take for granted a family member being able to recognize me as they made their way through the disease. 

Now having a direct family member and a dear friend a recently diagnosed -  ALZ and dementia are once again right at my door. Knowing now all to well what will be robbed from those diagnosed and what will be lost for those of us who love them. Now more than ever we need to continue the fight because we ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE.  Finally there is some hope on the horizon with recent treatment / medication announcements we have a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel and need your help to open the door fully and let the light in!!!
