My father suffered, and ultimately passed from this terrible disease.  I made it my personal goal to become more involved to honor him, and hopefully help support others going through the same painful process.  The walk is a great evenT to raise awareness and funds, I challenge others to volunteer, walk, or donate to such an important cause to so many.  I, like many others, had no idea the pain and process of this horrible disease takes on not only the victim, but the care givers until it reached our family.  Please help us find a cure and honor those who have passed.  I hope, and pray that others will not have to experience what many of us have, and the toll it takes on each member of family, friends, and care givers involved.
