Bill Ritter and I, along with siblings and caregivers, have cared for parents and siblings inflicted with Alzheimer's and Dementia. Watching loved ones lose their mental capacity and ability to care for themselves is heartbreaking.
My name is Jim McNerney. My father, Tom, suffered from Dementia. Dementia stripped my Dad of his mental capacity to care for himself and his dignity.
My name is Bill Ritter. Currently my sister, Sue, has Alzheimer’s and is living in at memory care unit at the age of 76. She was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s at the age of 68. Both of our parents, Jane and George, passed away with dementia. They lived in a memory care facility prior to passing away. Margi’s Mom, Rachel Kane also passed from dementia and lived her final years in a memory care facility We also had an Aunt, Jo O’Neil, Jane’s sister, who passed from Alzheimer’s as well
Please support our team for the Walk to End Alzheimer's®, the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research so that future generations don't suffer the same fate as our loved ones.
Thanks for your donation and may God bless you!
