I Walk to End Alzheimer's as a Purple Knight in memory and honor of my grandpa, Raymond Knight Tussing, and my grandma who was his caregiver. With a disease that feels helpless, walking gives me a sense of purpose that is directly impactful in the fight against Alzheimer's, and the event gives me a special occasion to commemorate my grandparents each year in such a meaningful way. I walk in the hope that one day there will be an end to Alzheimer's disease.
