"Dementia does not rob someone of their dignity; it's our reaction to them that does!" ~Teepa Snow
In August 2022 our family had a crash course on dementia. My dear Aunt Linda passed away December 23rd, 2021 from dementia and although we were traumatized by the sudden loss it opened our eyes to the remarkable shock that so little is known about how to properly care for those living with dementia. Teepa Snow was a God send when we all had sleepless nights researching how to comfort Linda and that began a 4-month journey until Aunt Linda went to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ. So, we'll walk, we'll raise awareness, and we'll fight for those living with dementia to be properly cared for and care takers to be trained on how to co-care for those living with until there is a cure.
Please help me raise awareness, turn people to the Teepa Snow way to care for those living with dementia, and fight for a cure! "Until there's a cure, there's care" Teepa Snow.
Any contribution helps and on behalf of my Aunt Linda, thanks for caring enough to make a contribution!
