Our journey started Father's Day 2019, when our dad/granddad was leaving our home in Twinsburg and got lost trying to go back home. After a series of doctor's appointments, he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. This literally changed all of our lives. Although our journey was not easy and really got tough at times, we never gave up. I would like to think with him being a Ford worker, that he Built us Ford Tough.

On August 2, 2022, at 3:14 am our journey ended. This was a journey that we wish for no one to have to go through. Therefore, in honor of our dad/granddad we are participating in The Walk to End Alzheimer's. This is our 2nd year participating and we plan to continue. We all hope that a cure will one day be found, so that we can put an end to this horrible disease.
