Beth, along with Gini Tussey, invite you to join our fight, and Walk to End Alzheimer's!!!!

Almost 18 years ago, we lost a very special person and friend, my Dad, to this terrible disease. Dad was a loving, friendly, helpful man who was active with golf, bowling, gardening, winters in Myrtle Beach, and family life.  Slowly over the years, Alzheimer's robbed him of his golden years. He lost the ability to do the everyday things that we all take for granted. We had to slowly watch him slip away from us.  Although he fought as hard as he could to fight this dreaded disease, Alzheimer's won the battle and in 2004, we lost someone we loved very much, and an important part of our family.

In October 2020, we lost another beloved family member, Simon's mother Leppa, who bravely battled Alzheimer's as we watched it yet again slowly take away this beautiful person and leave its impact on our family.

We are fighting in memory of Dad and Leppa, along with many friends who have lost loved ones, or who are currently dealing with someone affected with Alzheimer's.  It not only affects those afflicted with it, but also their loved ones and caregivers as well.  We don't want our children and grandchildren to keep reliving the tragedy of losing loved ones to Alzheimers. 

It is too late to help my Dad, Leppa, and the others we have lost, but it isn't too late to work together to find a cure, or better way to treat this disease. Along with research for a cure, the Alzheimer's Association also provides much needed support, info, and guidance to those who find themselves in the throes of this disease. We do not want others to have their lives changed by this disease so we are walking to reclaim the future for millions. By participating in the 2022 Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's,we're committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer research, care and support.

We need your support to do our part! Please join our team and walk with us this Fall 2022 !  If you cannot walk with us, please donate to my page.  If you can't or don't wish to do either, please at least think of us and those affected by Alzheimer's that day.   Thank you for joining our movement!
