I am participating in the Alzheimer's walk in honor of my grandma Mary Albertson who is currently living with dementia and for my family members who have passed away from this awful disease. There is no cure for this disease but we walk and raise money in hopes that someday there will be. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s®, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association® to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
