Five years ago we started the team "The Forgotten Notes" to honor my wife, Laura, who has been dealing with Alzheimer's for more than 20 years. I have been so pleased with the number of family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and former students who generously donated to this cause the past few years. I thank all of you who donated and/or walked with us to help find a cure to Alzheimer's. This year I am hoping more people will join our team to honor their loved ones who have dealt with this disease.
Laura has been in a nursing home for more than six years and she is extremely confused. At only age 74, she is now in a wheel chair fulltime. I thank God that she still knows me. Having this disease at an early age has created many great challenges for our family, but God has given us the grace to meet those challenges. I am also thankful for the wonderful caregivers and the Christians who have been praying for us. God is good! Your donations to help find a cure for this terrible disease are appreciated.
