Did you know 5.4 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's disease and that figure is expected to increase to 13 million by 2050! 

THERE IS NO CURE AND NO SURVIVORS. 

Many people living with Alzheimer's disease and their caregivers are struggling under the physical and emotional toll of this disease. That's why I'm raising funds for the Alzheimer's Association. 

I am walking in honor of all those affected by Alzheimer's disease - those who are living with the disease and their families. 

Let me share the story of Rosario Labrador who was mercilessly taken from her family and friends by Alzheimer's disease....

Rosario "Rosie" Labrador was a beloved pediatrician in Logan, Ohio for over 25 years. She was dedicated to public service within her community and worldwide through the many medical mission trips she took. She was a woman of strong faith who was adored by her friends, family, and community. Her legacy lives on through her children and grandchildren. I am honored to know her daughter, Mariel Labrador Alatalo. Mariel and I teach Zumba together and she truly embodies the spirit of faith and service to others just like her mother. 

I've seen firsthand the devastation Alzheimer's causes for not only there person living with the disease but also for their friends and family. Can I count on you to help me reach my fundraising goal of $2,500? All proceeds go to the Alzheimer's Association to fund care, research, and support services for people  with Alzheimer's and their caregivers....people like Rosario and her daughter Mariel. 

Every donation, no matter the amount, brings us one step closer to finding a cure. Together we can make a difference for those living with this terrible disease.
